Other than TMN and other things my main interest is music, I don't produce or anything I just love listening to it. What types of music does everyone listen to?
I'm a drum 'n' bass fan! |

my first taste of music i truly enjoyed was trance/dance music from the early 90s / mid 90s - though at the time to young to go clubbing, and never really fancied that sceane anyway.
I would love to go to Cafe Del Mar though.
trance/dance led me to other types of electronic/synth music, hardcore house, happy house etc then as i developed an ear for harder pumping stuff i delved into the Gabber music, which initially seems okayish, then i found out about speedcore/its variations - though in this field its hard to find decent sounding songs because of the epic BPM levels.
Now obviously this style of music delves into using samples from other songs, if i ever liked a sample used I would go down the root of tracking it, which has led me to like music from all genres and ages.
though if i were to say i hate anything it would have to be comercialised pop of the 2000s, the 90s were ok-ish. (i dont like admitting that)
so yeah, i like everything. _________________

I'm off to see The Fall tonight! I make a point of seeing them whenever they are in town as i fully expect Mark E Smith to kick the bucket any year now.
*observes blank faces*
Music like it should be.Unpredictable, chaotic and out of tune.Lifes too short for mix master morons, knob twiddlers and drum machines. |

Wasn't the best gig i've ever been to (all new album stuff that hasn't been released yet and no old favourites played) but it was quite surreal to be standing next to Frank Skinner and nodding heads to the beat together. He's got a weird shaped head |

Generally rock and that kind of thing, although there's plenty of other stuff I like. On the whole I can't be doing with anything that creates a repetitive thumping noise. _________________

I was a big Rock/Metal head when I was younger but I also started to listen to Hip Hop when I moved to Plymouth, Michigan. Now I listen to electronic music and Reggae/Dub as well but I tend to listen more to rock, especially psychedelic/progressive rock. My favourite bands/artists are Portishead, The Mars Volta, Gunshot, Hawkwind, Led Zeppelin in no special order. |
