Hey there,
I'm doing a 'research' (profielwerkstuk) on maps. Now I'm trying to make a comparison between different applications either on a website or free for download.
I know Google Earth/Maps and Visual Earth..does anyone know another nice and interesting application?
Thanks |

Have a look at www.fixclan.com (then Membermap). It's a pretty common used application. (www.hyves.nl uses the same kind) Not sure where it comes from, but I'm sure you could use something like that. Good luck on your profielwerkstuk _________________

Ok, those are some really nice websites
I especially like the wikisky one (though I knew of it, but never thought of using that as a map) and flashearth.com
Also mashable.com seems to have enough other alternatives should I need any.
Obviously if there are any other suggestions they are welcome |

I know two map sites:
http://www.streetmap.co.uk/
http://www.nations.tm-exchange.com/
I do have google maps on my PDA/phone which links to GPS and shows you where you are, as well as routing both between two adresses and also between yur current GPS position and another address. If you need to know anything, just ask. |
