Howdy folks,
Haven't played Trackmania online much before so I only just found your laps server on Wednesday. I like it a lot and I figured I should come say hello. Very nice tracks you've got there, much more fun than the "where the buggery am I supposed to go?" efforts I've found elsewheres. 
I normally spend much more time playing shooters than driving games, but lately I've been looking for a totally different kind of challenge so I played through GRID single player campaign and came back to TM which I hadn't touched since last year. Really getting into it, so you might be seeing me about a bit.

some mad lappers have it, and occasionally we venture into the multiplayer for a change, though we have not done it recently

Yeah I spotted the GRID forum while I was having a browse and decided it was worth mentioning. I also have FlatOut 1 & 2 if anybody ever plays those. |

Yep, I have a similar opinion of tracks in the wider TM community. Time attack isn't my thing anyway, but factor in confusing tracks and it's a recipe for disaster (as you've discovered by the sound of it ). Once I shake off my current Halo Wars addiction I'll see you on the server.

If you find your way on vent (News and Information -> VENTRILLO), no mic required but preferred, you can usually find a bunch of mad lappers patching fps, strategy or racing games to have a laugh with.
