I don't know if this has been discussed already, just wanna know
Why is the downloading of tracks disable by the server, as it sais when you try
I'd like to download those great SOR MAD tracks
PS: Hell to TMX ( were those tracks on TMX anyway? ^^ ) |

Discussed it with mad on vent when you asked me.
Mainly because we dont want people downloading the tracks, and changing the name and author, and pretending the track is theres.
Some of the tracks were on tmx aswell, but as thats dead, (soon to be brought back from the dead) you cant get them of that either. |

Can't you just password protect tracks?
Plus, some sites where you can't download tracks still allow you to save replays, and then you can race against the replay. |

you can password tracks but that makes my life difficult and I don't want to password 300 tracks .
We've had people claim tracks as their own a few times and It's not good. I don't mind people having them, or even using them on another server but pretending they made them is something else
The password protection is really poor too. |

I'm trying to start creating some decent Nations tracks. First problem though; TMX won't let me register. The security code's the problem. I type what the picture shows, only to be told that I've put it in incorrectly. Anybody got any ideas or an email address for the Exchange team? _________________

You could ask someone to create you an account, then you change the password...
Did you have an account before tmx died?? |

Must have been a problem with the security code as there's a different one today that actually worked. _________________
