You're probably all sick to death of me saying that I use a 360 pad for TM. Annoyingly, the controller no longer wants to connect to the reciever.
There are connect buttons on the reciever and controller. In order to pair them up, you press in the reciever's button until its light flashes and then turn on the pad with start or the central guide button. Press connect and the ring of light spins for a bit and then changes to having the controller connected as number one (top left corner). The controller doesn't have to be paired after that, it just needs to be turned on. In theory.
I think it was Thursday when I tried turning it on and the controller couldn't find the reciever. This struck me as being a bit odd, so I tried pairing it again. Again, no joy; the controller's lights span for a bit, then got bored and flashed on and off. I've just tried reinstalling the drivers (it fixed the problem I had with nobody hearing me on vent a while back) and will the bugger connect? Nope. Any ideas please? _________________

not really
you need to try and reboot them both....
remove all batteries, unplug and reboot and then try again. It's where I'd start. |

A metre or two. I've gone back to wired for my mouse and keyboard, the connect button on the reciever for those broke.
The controller connects to my 360 just fine. It seems that the reciever's a bit power-hungry and that it doesn't like having other USB devices connected. Sounds like a common problem. _________________
