stopping me from connecting

some things stopping my tm account from connecting to the internet and its driving me crazy !!! some one help asap please

ive just removed track mania and installed it again and now its saying extracting but not loading its doing my head in

when i open the tm file ive just downloaded the little tm page comes up like the bit where is says play and stuff but with a loading bar insteaad and nothings happening

Sounds like the problem I had with loading the game on my laptop. To get TM to work I have to open it thru a web address. That means either click on one of the links to join one of the Mad Laps servers, or just use this link tmtp:/// (you need to check that you have the game set to open when you click one of these links first)

the only problem now is just connecting it to the internet !! but my internet is fine god dam it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you starting in fullscreen mode if so try starting in windowed mode and see if any messages pop up.

Screen shots might prove helpful if you can take any?

If your computer can talk to the internet but TM can't then try the following steps....

Reboot the router ( It's a computer and gets confused )

Turn off ALL firewalls and Antivirus software on your PC ( Port Blocking )

Close all unnecessary apps in task manager ( Port Conflict )

Check you can access www.Trackmania.com ( DNS Problem )

Then post back.

If you've reinstalled the bought version then you'll need a reactivation code, as I advised you weeks ago in-game chat. If you'd been paying attention to my answers you would have contacted supportdl.focus@gamesplanet.com with your purchase details and they'd have obliged and you'd have been playing all this time. Is your old trackmania folder in "mydocs"?

If it is, move it until the game makes a new one, then replace after its made a new one, u`ll have all your cars back and don`t even have to put in your cd key.

right i moved tm into shared documents . dunno if i was ment to do that ! my firwall and anti virus is off (mad) but now i cant put them back on again lol and mid when i sent the email it just went straight away as in it didnt seem to load of anything as i was sending it so i dont know if the email sent or not !
