seems few of us are filtering into this
co-op only allows for 4 players playing together at a time, there are 2 other modes but have not tried them yet that support 16 vs 16 on multiplayer/lan
its the most fun i have had in a while vs computer controlled things.
after once i have done the stock campaign (either single or co-op'd)
im defiently gonna try hunt down some decent custom created campaigns/missions
might even have a go myself

when we got some more human players id like to try 2v2 or 3v3 anhilation/infiltration things
someone has made a small custom made map intended for 6v6
get it there http://www.filefront.com/14685069/Mountain_Ops_002_MP_PACK.zip/
and
Just drop the "mountain ops" folder into your \data_win\missions directory. _________________

1v1 infiltration and anhilations are major fun - makes the game into a rts as you could end up spending more time in map mode giving out instructions to your ai teams.
depending on map it might be better to go in as a huge wave with your ai buddies
i was testing these modes with sosteve just now,both quite noobish and confused by things, naturally i seem to grasp things quicker
but moments of error and newbie geniusness. resulted in us playing
4 anhilations with 20 mins per map - i won all of them 1st one was a close result, i believe the next 3 were large victories for me
all on different maps (2 custom, 2 default)
then we played 4 inhilations -
all default
sosteve chose to be the us team which is the attacking force
both times sosteve struggled with the men and vehicle movements on the take out control tower map
but he did get 2 wins on destroying a sunburn.
the 1st one was a resulkt of my error
2nd one was partily my error and abit of tactical genius by sosteve
muchos fun
cant wait to play more 1v1 for sure on these modes

i am no sure how 2v1 or even a 2v2 would work on these modes though.
but i do plan to win the map sosteve has beat me twice on
screenshots from this session

and atlast, i have or atleast seem to finally work out how to make a basic annihilation map
currently set for 2v2 in a 500mx500m square around the small village (but one of larger urban areas) Solje
might increase number to 3v3.
now i know how to create annihilation ill go about creating some more small ones in interesting areas. _________________

note to self
Borosovka CQC
USMC Boat problem needs rectifying
note to all
my 2nd custom map is near ready
anhilation
4v4 ( may make it 3v3)
borosovka - a coastal village with a dock high cliffs around it.
us - spawn outside the port
pla spawn in the port
each side has
3 cqc riflemen
1 anti tank (to make boat killing easier)
1 boat - so use it wisely _________________

the lakes - a map based around the long lake at salt lakes
kozhanov - an infiltration expirment 2 US vs 12 PLA night stealth mission _________________

BOROSKVA = okay to play - 4v4
ring of death =needs some improvements
2beach = needs improvemnt _________________
