I always dug the idea of AA, and I got through basic training once.
The gameplay is a bit slower than fantasy warfare ganes, the maps generally larger and the weaponry... seems endless
A bit short on 'fun' and heavy on teamwork, it didn't quite float my boat.
I found another FPS with similarly well-modelled weapons and vehicles which is difficult to master and takes place in a simpler era: Red Orchestra Ostfront on Steam, cheap and it'll run on your old record player
Back to AA if there are a few of us I'd download it again for a laugh. _________________

I had it on my old computer did all the training stuff but only played it a few times with the other clan members who had it.
Probably will download it again though, was a bit more polished than battlefield I thought. _________________

the training over the versions has actually been made easier, though the annoying special forces training is still annoying. _________________

I used to play version 2.5
Couldn't be bothered to download all over again and was only able to find patches from 2.6 -> 2.7, never from 2.5->2.6, so I removed if from my PC. It is indeed quite a bit slower than most FPS's, but with a fun team which actually coöperates it's hell of a lot fun. That bridge map was just awesome |

ate falling out of sync with updates can be annoying, im kept to date with changes due to regulary checking tracker site and my clan.
As for bridge, not my favourite map, due to the limitations of different routes to take. i prefer pipeline and maps that arent played on, oh i do love multiple objective maps _________________

I have this installed, but do get sick of joining servers, the amount of **** it downloads before you actually play is very argh annoying. _________________

I looked at AA when it first came out. After completing the training i lost interest. Not entirely sure as to why.
Mostly i enjoy CS:Source, its fast pace and quick rounds make for a rapid piece of fun, though i'm guessing a few here will flame me for still playing it but hey ho. _________________ A Thirst for knowledge should never be quenched |

when i started my first online AA game there was one man who could hit you with a rocket from the other side of the map and another guy who repeatadely sneaked up on me and stamped me to death... I gave up very quickly. |
