Has anyone else realised how much tat you can buy for a ps3. I was totalling up how much I spent on bits and bobs since I bought the console a month ago.
Real triggers for No 2 shoulder buttons £7.80
2nd PS3 Controller £35
Controller mounted keyboard £25 (it's a godsend though)
Charging dock for 2 controllers £18
HDMI cable £15
Over a hundred bloody quid, it's become an addiction not including the £120 I've spent on games, the missus is not happy _________________

i've just bought 2 guitar controllers for 360 and the 360 to go with it, in Game it was £75 for one guitar controller and Guitar Hero World Tour but i found 2 different listings on ebay, got one for £35, one for £40 with the Guitar Hero World Tour game, although i've got all the Guitar Hero/Rock Band games already
i can imagine i'm going to need a plug and charge kit for my pad though and various other bits and bobs stamped with a 360 logo |

I got a 5m HDMI from ebuyer.com for about £5.
Don't get me started on music games Evil. Jonny persuaded me to get Guitar Hero 3 from the local HMV for £35 and I've now got Rock Band in my games collection and my sights set on the drums. Don't get a play and charge kit because it's exactly that; the controller doesn't spend much time as a wireless pad. Go for the quick charge kit, which is a bit more expensive but much, much better.
Yep, there's plenty of accessories for both consoles, and most of them are horribly expensive. If I tried to count up all the headsets and controllers I've got I'd probably unintentionally miss a few out. Add 12 PS3 games and slightly more 360 games and you're looking at an expensive hobby... _________________

I got the blu-ray remote when i bought the console in a package deal but hardly used it. Thats the only accessory i've got really, apart from an extra controller.
Is the controller mounted keyboard worth getting? Any good?
Anyone got Play TV, looks pretty good, Freeview plus for £50. Bargin? |

I got the sony blu ray remote as part of my console package and I haven't used it much either, it's a bit bulky tbh.
The controller mounted keyboard is worth having if you need to input text on a reasonably regular basis. It's handy for speaking to the brother in law when we're playing fifa 09 as well . At £25 though its a bit expensive I reckon for all it really does, but it is a lot better than using the controller for entering info etc. _________________
