OK so I know that a large amount of people prefer to GP on the sunday but.......
Sunday night the servers are really packed and running a GP means booting the regular servers at peak time to slot in the races.
where as racing on a saturday the servers are busy but not straining and we can usually squeeze in the GP without too much bother.
It also frees me up on a Sunday and gives me a day out of the office where as saturday I'm normally in the office anyhow.
Any other thoughts would be welcome. but I'll get todays tracks up as soon as I've worked them out.
I havent forgotten all the website mods and results etc either... they will come eventually |

Do you need to be in the office to run the GP's??
If yes, its unfair on you being stuck in the office every day of the week, just to run a GP, so i say saturday.
Also, about the regulars being on the server on Sunday, if the GP is on sunday, they'll all be on the Challenge server, not the normal one so it wont affect the normal server as much |

Saturday's at the usual time works for me. Doesn't really matter it's the weekend so I'm flexible. Probably won't make it to GP today (29th) cause
gotta finish this computer. Took 2 weeks to get a Asus socket A motherboard from Ebay. He said he was busy last week then got sick after that. Had to call Microsoft Activation center this morning cause too many hardware changes lol. Customer probably wondering what the heck is going on???!@?!? I've called and left voice mails for updates.
Then going to IRA sprints race tonight...... but there is some rain out west there is none in the forecast don't think it'll track this way.

Don't forget to send donations to Mad for spending his weekend time with us noobs and running the server. It wouldn't be possible without his dedication |

I had to disappear sharpish last night and neither congratulated the winner nor thanked Mad for his trouble ...
Well Done Dantski (and did Tom win the 2nd? I couldn't make it out)
Thanks Mad! |

No, Dantski won both GP's.
And something strange happened to the server, i got booted off before the end of the race, but i had given up by then.
And mad, retoon and i have decided next weeks track - Yellow, and The Ditch Theres one sensible suggestion anyway. |

I'm often out on saturday evenings and I'd be able to make more sunday GPs but if you have to be in the office to have GPs on sundays keep them on saturdays
Yellow and the ditch next week?
See, tracks I might be able to get a podium on and i'm not gonna be there |

yep disconnection at the end of the second race but danski won, me second, was it dodgy third and CJ fourth I think.
Great race and hopefully we won't see a repeat of the disconections in the near future. |

I thought Tom and CRJ were neck and neck at the end. I was a little way behind them in 6th |

We were battling over 4th and 5th i think.
I had just overtaken CRJ about a corner before the disconnection. |

lol, well I'd passed both of you with 3 or 4 laps to go (although admittedly I got repassed before the next checkpoint) but then I went into selfdestruct mode and started hitting everything in sight |

Does that mean that tred will get annoyed because he's come from another team [RFR] and he isnt number 1 here....so he may do the same to Mad Laps as alonso did to mclaren
Only jk, alonso has to be one of the worst sportsman of this era. I'd rather see Lewis or Kimi win than him. |
