As were on the 'Flame at people who abuse the track voting system' discussion, im adding my 2 cents. Razz

...I find it so annoying when people type /track ID, and hold it until the last second before the track changes... then hit enter when someone has already voted for a track and is waiting patiently for the track to change. Then as they voted last, it plays their track first... doesnt make sense to me Confused

And i like Swats idea... but i wouldnt like to be the moderator/admin who's on in the evenings when there's 25 people all shouting at you, demanding over 20 different tracks... Rolling Eyes

Yeh we have repeated the same tracks alot when I go on, but the power of voting is there to change that. If you're doing the same old tracks then vote for something different Smile

As for getting rid of the voting system, I don't see why thats such a bad idea. What annoys me is when either A. a noob votes for loads of random tracks without really knowing what he/she is doing and B. When someone keeps voting for the same 2 or 3 tracks whenever they're on and C. When someone 'hogs' the voting every track.

The last minute voting is annoying too, but I'd have to be honest and say I only do that when belial votes for flinger Razz

Honestly, I would have thought that with such consummate skill would come a smidgeon of humility and tolerance for the spectrum of variety on the server, Steve.

Being an admin on a server is a pain in the jacksy. If everyone knows you're an admin you hardly get to play the game for people moaning about changing this or restarting that or kicking the noob Laughing

I'm in a mood to kick/ban anyone slagging our server and chosen pastime in public chat, take a warning.
If the game no longer presents a challenge just move on and parasitise some other community, don't try to knock down the house on your way out.

I still want this idea to be actioned. Classics has been dead now for a few weeks, theres 300+ tracks on there that are all quality and a extremely enjoyable to race on. I don't see why these should go to waste, please put a good 10-20 of them on the Forever server, as it will mix up the tracks a bit between new and old and a full server of 25 racing on a track like the original GP6 or Big Red would be brilliant.

Pleeease.

i agree , im useless at the new tracks but still ok at the older ones so its fun got around 12 people in the classic server tonight Cool
