I'm just wondering if it might be best not to use this forum as our alliance forum. After all, it's public, so anyone could see what we're discussing. Unlikely though it is that someone will stumble upon it, anyone leaving the alliance would be able to access it. If someone is calling for assistance/resources, we could be giving out actionable intelligence, couldn't we?

Err, like what? I don't really think we need another forums, as we've hardly done much in terms of posting plans, and we can easily send messages in game or on here to each other with sensitive data...

OK. I'm probably being paranoid. It is a bit of a pain in the ass to message everyone, though. Is there a "send message to entire alliance" option? I don't think so.

Mad might be amenable to creating a Travian Members' Area within the Forum. Only persons in that group would be able to see it. Is that ok for your uses?

Yes, there is a 'post everyone' option. Type [ally] into the recipients, and everyone will get the message. The only disadvantage over the forum is its a 1 to 1 discussion, and not a group discussion. And your inobx gets very full if 60 people all reply to your message... Razz
