i have a problem, new pc, windows 7, everything installed updated, done the lot.
problem is when i go into track editor, when i click on a piece of track, i cannot scroll the piece up or down with the mouse, the buttons still work in editor to spin the piece around.
page up and down will move the piece.
if anybody has had a simular problem, can they please tell me how to go around it.
sensible answers only please. |

you could try going control panel>hardware and sound>devices and printers>mouse try uninstalling reinstalling driver but check that wheel is set to 1 notch for 3 lines first _________________

This 7 thing is highly infectious. I installed 7 and basically everything I need on Sunday, but was getting boot issues. Tonight I've reinstalled it, doing it properly with the 100MB system reserved partition, and now I'm frantically trying to get my system ready for tomorrow night. Half the stuff I want on here will have to wait until later in the week. _________________

it sounds as if windows is updating the driver.....
try searching for the specific manufacturers driver and use that.
What is the mouse make/model and motherboard make/model?
You could also uninstall and then run ccleaner to clean the registry. This should remove all settings / entries that sometimes linger and don't get overwritten when you reinstall.
cheers. |

What i have found is the scroller does work but if i am slowy scrolling it takes about five full turns to get the piece to move up one turn.
Then if i jab at it quicky it will go up in less turns.
i have downloaded the microsoft driver as well for it, and ccleanered it and clean up it.
Must be something to do with the speed of the scroller |
