GP = Grand Prix Razz

Every week there is a grandprix where all the regular people come together to do two big races of about 20 minutes each on two different tracks. Most of the time there are 15+ people around, most of them holding top 5 records on the normal server(s).

Think there's a sticky which explains it better Razz

Jumping GP sounds good. Slower than Sweeping GP so will be easier for long distances but still very fast and lots of jumps and nice places to crash and burn Very Happy V. suitable for me then Razz

Perhaps we should have a short list, 4+ish tracks, have them in a poll and we race the two most popular.

Sounds like a good idea Steve. I'd also suggest one of my tracks but they're far too crap for a GP.

I think an interesting track to do would be .... i think it's ST-03 as there is a quite difficult shortcut on it which could be used as a last lap attempt to win if it's close, or a major risk on every single lap

ok the server is open for business Smile

silverhill park raceway by racerX
track 548 by erm ME

On silverhill the fastest way round corner one seems to be to bump the right hand edge of the track before the corner and turn hard left. no brakes required.

any other line hints anyone Smile
oh and I removed the cut which wasnt that helpful anyway.

First GP i was glad to have won
Second GP i was glad to have finished after restarting after crashing

Second track was so funny, there wasnt two minutes without someone saying 'noooo' or 'dam' or stuff indicating the end of the race Laughing

Two good races, although I missed the start of the first. The second was great fun - it's an inspired idea to have a couple of slightly odd ones in the mix. Both excellent and imaginitive maps, too - I had never seen either before.

Well done Moldo and Dantz.
And thanks Mad for making it all impossible.
