This is a program I found that basically clears up your PC a bit, and improves its performance.
that's just a dumbed down version, but I hugely recommend this program. It's free, it's fast and it's really easy to use.
On my old PC, it usually would take literally half an hour to boot up. I had already defragged, searched for viruses and cleared the registry with no luck. I found this program, downloaded it and installed. With one button, it searched my PC for various things, for about 30 minutes.
My old PC now boots up in 2-3 minutes, no joke.
obviously it will differ from each PC to the next, but I urge you to get this program on your PC and run a scan. It's just so easy and effective I was astounded.

slick piece of kit, bundles lots of useful functions and some neat Utilities like the SmartRAM - now I can get up to 101% of CPU capacity
Freed up 100MB further disk space with a CrapCleaner sweep afterwards though, mostly cookies. ASC3 has a better Startup and registry cleaner.
