CRJ wanted to know how I did in the GP and he wasn't accepting my answer of a word rhyming with swollocks.
Race 1: I was doing fine until I crashed on laps 13,16 and 19 and went from 4th all the way down to 21st then managed to claw, shoot, mutilate and connive my way back up to 16th.
Race 2: Was doing absolutely tip top up into 3rd place when a massive fart threw me off balance I went out the side of the loop and dropped me down to 17th when again I managed to claw my way back up to 14th. _________________

race 2 : for some reason i was infront for a while untill lap 5 where i made a huge error, flew of the side of loop....5 laps to go and those speedy ppl had caught up, some were trying that cut and not executing it, angel appeared to do worse at it _________________

Race 1: Never got into my stride. A few mistakes and I dropped to 20th on Lap 21, but managed to get up to 17th (ish) by the end.
Race 2: More or less the same. A mistake on the loop - or even the upslope after the grass - was severely punished on this map. You could easily lose 30 seconds for one mistake as you'd trim off a whole load of momentum on the restart ... especially if you're like me and let your crashes run on till the bitter end on the off-chance that you end up on four wheels again (but never do).
One thing I've noticed about the handicap system is that we really do bunch up towards the end, and a little mistake can easily lose you 5 or 6 places. And that's a good thing. |

first race i was doing well and apart froma few bad laps was happy with the result. raced matt wheel to wheel the whole race and he was ahead as we crossed the finish... it was pot luck.. thats my view anyway
second race... well it was an andsome track I enjoyed the track but with my usual can't resist a good stunt bravado threw a few laps away and made some nightmare mistakes. was vying for last place but didn't quite manage it.
I'm really pleased at the points outcome at the moment and yes, the handicap is working well when people are racing up to their levels.. the tracks help that. |

Race 1: 5 handiloops and I was off with some great racing against Mad. As the laps got into double figures I went for a big push to pull away and managed to get a few seconds ahead so that I could concentrate on catching those ahead and fending off those behind. Lapped Squeeze twice which I found a little unnerving but found out after the race that he was "over the legal limit". Then disaster on lap 19ish when I mucked up the chincane at the top of the track big time and rolled causing me to respawn and ended up back in a fight with Mad right up until the line when I SKILLFULLY stayed infront Was also trying to catch Belial who was between 5-10 secs ahead for the last 3 laps but couldnt quite manage it and seriously regretted my lack of concentration at the chicane which possibly cost me the place! Great race though...best so far by far!
Race 2: Thought there would be a high attrition rate on the heavily stunt orientated track so I decided to do 6 handiloops instead of the usual 5, benefit from others crashing and make up the places...unfortunately the high attrition rate affected me too! In the warmup I said that I was going to brave the cut during the race...mistake! Respawned on lap 1 and 2 so gave up by the 3rd. Was miles behind anyone so decided to brave it again on 8 and it payed off so decided to give it another go on 9...surprise surprise i buggered it up! From then on I avoided it (at one point considered doing it again but talked myself out of it and immediately after that Angel landed upside down on the track infront of me so that was the final nail in the coffin for any possibility of trying it once more! By lap 20 I decided to just go all out (minus the cut) and managed to pull it to 13th. |

Haven't looked at other thread yet so don't know if I've been DQ'ed.
Meant to do 8 loops (handicap is 9) both races, might have done 7 on one, possibly both.
Race 1 - Pretty fast and consistent, caught Belial on lap 24 and drove the last lap like an old woman to win.
Race 2 - Flawless for 23 laps, passed JawZ for the lead on lap 19-20 and had a flip off the loop on lap 24. Thought it must've dropped me 6-7 places but I was still in the lead and despite Bboys sneaky cut on the last lap (saw him fly past me!) won again. _________________ It's not the winning, its the taking apart |

race one
just could not get into a steady rhythm
race two
rubbed the wall as i went into the handi loop so thought sod it and only did one.
was pretty consistent thug was about 15 secs in front, seemed to catch him after about four laps (must have had a crash), was in front then for what seemed ages then jawz started to show on the list about ten secs back, he was gaining about half a second a lap so kept it calm then come out of the loop badly and he gained a lot so pushed myself hard off the grass hit the corner with speed and the car decided to leap straight over the side
respawned and dropped about 15 secs finished ninth |

Race 1: Lap 4 - Forgot to turn off AIM... friend sent me a message and froze up my computer for 4-5 seconds... ended up riding the wall. Around lap 11 or 12 realized I had been taking a corner wrong (didn't need to slow down), picked up my pace by about .5-1 second per lap. Uneventful until the last lap where 3 mistakes saw Swat passing me and ending in a neck-and-neck race with Mid.
Race 2: Did 11 handiloops with Swat... oops. Managed to hit the cut (not perfectly, but never had to respawn) for the first 23 laps. Solid 2nd place finish, I won't complain.

I stopped using the cut after lap 23... Didn't want to ruin a potentially great finish. So I have no idea who or what you saw flying past you. |

10's supposed to be the max, but I lost count of my handiloops after doing 3 or 4 of them... or maybe 2... anyways, I saw Swat barely ahead of me and decided to follow him in his loops, appearently he miscounted them as well and we ended up doing an extra loop. |

The handicaps are calculated based upon 10 loops. doing 11 will lower your finishing position considerably and thus should remove any possible gains.... But I'm watching it. It would be a hard decision to DQ someone for taking too much handicap. |

no need for DQ, just count it as 10loops although he did 11 |
