the patches fix some of the controller issues
http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1142/Race_Driver:_GRID_1.2_Patch.html
"Fix for failure to recognise some devices in user-created action map presets, including Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2." whatever that means
although i must say when it was still just Trackmania Nations i used a Playstation 2 copy usb pad with rumble and analogue built in that stopped working on Forever so now i've got a PC Line Tournament pad thats like an old Playstation 1 pad only worse |

I use a xbox 360 wireless pad, this is ace on grid but wont work properly on TMNF it doesn't recognise half the buttons and just keeps going left (even when turning right lol) anyone know a cure? _________________

you can get the xbcd drivers for 360 pads but apparantly they only work with the wired pads, its so you can use accelerator and brake at the same time on TM
this is the thread i read about it
http://www.rage3d.com/board/archive/index.php?t-33885775.html
theres also pinnacle game profiler if that works
thats at
http://www.pinnaclegameprofiler.com/
does say its $19.95 though if you can't nigel it you do get 30 days free to see if it works |

I'm using a wireless pad bought for the 360 with a reciever bought seperately. I've not had control issues, but I do have to connect the reciever when the desktop has loaded instead of leaving it plugged in permanently. I also had to reinstall the drivers to sort out my mic problems on Vent, but other than these issues it's been pretty good so far. Excellent for TM and easily the weapon of choice for GRID. _________________
