STARTS THIS WEEK

Its also going to be using handicaps. A handicap guide will be hosted here and adjusted after each week. The handicap involves racing round the pit lane a set number of times before setting off to race. for instance I will do about 5 pit lane laps before starting. Bboy will do approximately 10. The maximum number of handicap laps is 10. You must do at least one less than your handicap guide. So if the guide is 5 you may do 4 or more. This means that if you think you are going to do badly you may drop your handicap etc. Handicaps will improve your personal points for the season. Your finishing position will count towards your teams score. Only the highest two team positions score from each race.

Tracks will be posted on the challenge server 30 minutes before a race.. ie 7.30 UK time and races will start at 8pm. They will be 25 laps and we will race 2 a week. A five minute break will be set between races. The racing will be finished by 9pm each week. I will then attempt to do the scoring Smile

Racing is for agreed team members only once the season starts..

each loop = approx. 13 seconds

immediately im starting 13 seconds behind angel and 26 seconds behind bboy...and thats before considering all the other fast people i have to start ages behind against, e.g. Invictus and Andsome start over a minute before me (thats about 2 and a half seconds per lap i have to catch up)

and i will be the only person doing 10 laps.
Do you really think that's fair?

ok, I've adjusted the handicaps to be fairer while we are lacking race data from which to derive them. The maths however is very accurate so as we add in more results the handicaps will become full automated. You may have to refresh your browser to fetch the new image.

also note that the race will be on the pro server due to numbers the password carnage will be in use but you must be in before 8pm because the password will change when the race starts to stop disruptions and arguments...
