OK
I took the point when I (for charity paid for bea to be kicked) I got kicked from the GP as soon as I was leading a race
Funny thing
Now every time I lead a race anytime I get kicked and lose connection. Thats 6 times.
Sorry I dont believe that much in coincidence.
So, thanks for the games ppl, it was fun, I think the server is paid for until sometime in December, when it runs out you’re on your own, I'm not supporting this community any more.
I'll play else where

Don't be hasty Bel, I expect the controller's been 'hacked' (not that hard at present) by some clown, DaMadman is fixing it pronto _________________

It's not just you Belial I've been losing connection at rather inconvenient moments as well which is why you boys haven't seen me the last couple of nights. Although I know it isn't Mad or Mid that is doing it my suspicions were that someone else is tampering as I appeared to be the only one who was getting the heave ho but that was a connection issue not a direct kick from an admin.
As Mid says someones being a silly buggar and it isn't someone that is supposed to have admin rights on the server. I can understand your annoyance but it's not one of the admins doing it and if it were the server would be logging who was doing it. _________________

I started getting the same problem about a month ago i was also losing vent as well i cured it by re-making my local area connection, if you are being kicked it says so on the black screen if its the connection it says so, i think this is a tech prob that can be sorted, madlaps wouldn't be the same without the loony scouser. _________________

I couldn`t connect last night, silly message again, also get random kicks from time to time, is definately a tech problem! Also, get alot of lag sometimes, even with only a few players, even when my ping is really low. _________________ Never underestimate the power of stupidity. |

It's not just you Belial, I've been getting kicked
off left, right and center and fairly regularly,
even when I'm the ONLY one on the server.
One can only hope that this doesn't become a regular problem. _________________ Out of gas and 4 flat tires, Ain't this day starting off good!?! |

Two probs at the moment....
Server keeps crashing. This shows a lost connection message and then the server has an auto thing which restarts the software. It's something to do with the maps list. I'm going to change the rotation again and see if we can fix it.
Bug in controller. Allows occaisional access when it shouldn't I'll fix it. If someone kicks you it will say 'you've been kicked' as you exit.
Belial can you confirm which your getting? Because the logs don't show you as being kicked.
Thanks |

Could it be the mods on the old tracks?? Would the old mixmaps effect the new game in any way? _________________ Never underestimate the power of stupidity. |

lol thats a bit random.
It doesn't appear to be mixed tracks or old mods, I've loaded and run a whole load of seperate tracks etc to see when it crashes and any track can do it. I think it may be the number of tracks and be an internal memory problem in the server but I can't prove it. I've had these troubles before with nations but a fix or two eventually solved it. trouble is they are ignoring this one. |

you're onto it I think there Mad. The server was doing pretty well while you had only a very few trackbuilders represented, but as I've added more and more the server has got a bit wobbly. I did suggest splitting the tracklist four ways and rotating the hundred-or-so every month? I could also methodically be aware of each Next Track during a session to see if there's a pattern. Dunno if any of this is making Bel hurt any less _________________

There's no pattern in the tracks and crashing I've checked the logs. We'll reduce the rotation tonight or tomorrow and see how it goes. |

Don't know how popular this will be but...well here goes...how about we split back into nations and forever again:
1. less tracks so less crashes
2. I personally, and I know I'm not the only person, think that the forever tracks are much better than the old nations ones. |

Personally I like them both but tend to agree with mid,
mabe a few tracks at a time in a rotation and see
how the server handles it?
and while we're on the subject of mods, is it just me
or does pepper's mods make anybody else's pc beg for mercy?
I usually have to set out most of his modded tracks due to extreme
lag on them. _________________ Out of gas and 4 flat tires, Ain't this day starting off good!?! |

I've removed it from my FTP so i think if you clean your cache, the mod shouldn't appear anymore...
In the launcher, => configuration => Advanced => Peer to Peer > clean the cache (my game is in french, not sure this is the exactly good translation) |
