as you can see I have today 20 sec late start

normally on such situation, in every tournament race is restarted with no talking - ...but not in GP

so I just quit, ther's no sense spend that couple hours on training without 100% sure that I will ride

A 20 sec late start shouldn't be a big problem in a 20 minute GP Cool

Reh got kicked from the first GP and came back on and just said 'sh*t happens'

bboy and hotswat both got invalid times on the second race, and reh got kicked again but they didnt want a restart

these things just happen

Personally if I was you minim I would have started to race and tried to fight my way back up, you probably would have gotten top 10.

Spitting the dummy and acting like a five year old on the other hand doesn't help you or your team mates. It's supposed to be fun at the end of the day, don't burst a blood vessel over it.

I would certainly restart for anyone excluded from a track loadup time hitch, honestly had I known. Anyone on Vent can squeak up easy but I didn't read any Chat from you Minim. Please get behind your Team and don't be daft Wink

Yeah if I'd seen the chat I would have got mid to stop the race but I race with it off so people don't distract me.

Yeah I'm sure it's annoying it would piss me off but don't let that stop you having a bit of fun which is what the mad laps championship is all about.

ok guys I'm calm down, and I behawe like a smeghead, and I'm sorry :/

but - I'm still don't wanna race if there's no guarantee that I will start with no problem...

SO, I have proposition - just lets start with WARMUPS (one lap time, just like in main server, NO warmup -> loading -> laps, BUT warmup -> laps)

what you think about that?

I don't understand what you've put into ( ) but there usualy is a warmup before the race starts.
This time, Madman was on Holidays and Middinho did his best to run the things as good as he could. Wink (thank you very much mate)
Sometimes, things goes strong against our will, but that's also part of the game.
In real races, cars brake their engines, lose tires... that was a dramatical weekend, but fortunately, nobody died Laughing
Only skindeep injuries... Wink

I'm glad you come back, even if i was close to catch you in the score, only one point behind ! Razz

ok, there's was warmup's before in GP but that kind of warmup is with no sense - first we have warmup without time limit, then someone decide that warmup is ending, then we have LOADING of the same track (!?), then you pray to God/Budda/Sun that loading will be faster than race start

like I said - just setup warmup before 25 laps just like in main server (time limited, without loading between)

yes, in real races there are accidents. but, why we have to have such accidents if we can easly eliminate them

...in that topic, I still don't understand why it is soo hard to repair cut

I missed a race last season because I was stuck in a painfully slow Indian takeaway. And like peter says, even in real GPs people fail because of technical problems. Yes, it's a pain in the ass, especially after all the hours practising, but at least you haven't flown to Melbourne and it happens!

I'll start warmup, nps, but the problem is ME like I said at the time: I hit Next instead of Restart thus causing map-loading delays to those that suffer from it.

Warmup sounds good as i tend to get late starts when its busy.

What I didnt understand about this entire situation is why you didn't carry on racing even if you late started, I mean..20 secs is nothing in a GP. Looking at the results, if you finished 20 secs behind the winner you would have come 5th! You know full well you're faster than alot of people who participate and a 20 sec gap would be reduced to nothing within a few laps.

Anyway, mid, whens mad back?
