MAD STAD Forest
Stimorol Challenge

This evening (depending from where you come from) our engines are about to howl, once more, very high. I wish you all a very good luck and above all, a lot of fun ! Very Happy

I'll do my best to be there in time since i finish my work a very short time before the beginning of the event. See you on the tracks buddies, have a nice day and a nice race. Wink

Yep before and after the end, just in case there would be a bug in the time table... i'll do my best to take it right.

Did someone mention the possibility of a privateer team (I believe it was the three highest scoring non-team members had their scores for the season added up and produced as a team score)? If so, I might be able to race this one tonight, however I'll only be able to race Mad Stad Forest as Stimorol Challenge lags my PC to hell (frame rate varying between 15fps and 10fps).

Any chance?

I don't recall that Heel, all I recall was looking forward to a Team event without privateers running who would take points off the ppl who want to take part in a Team Championship Neutral

Yeh i thought it was teams only this time, but mad said last night on vent that non-team members can race...*shrugs*

when we see the track?

...maybe players that play 4th season don'e see the problem, but me yes - organisation of this challenge sux. Why?
Simply because there's no official rules (we don't know that team must be rookie-medum-elite or what you can afford; what about cars - only stadium or no rules; what about points after every round?; when we play (day and hour) and lot of other stuff).

Points are the same as last season, have a look at previous threads (as i dont know because this is my first gp season)

RACE ONE - FOREST

Started out around 3rd - 4th on the last lap, managed to pass reh and retoon (?) to take 2nd behind swat. Was catching to within a second after 4 or 5 laps but tapped a wall and slowed right down. Halfway through Swat was about 5 secs ahead and Reh 11 secs behind, so had no pressure behind me but to catch swat. Noticed a mistake from him which brought it down to within 2 secs but the excitement got the better of me and crashed a couple of times. Finish 3 secs behind, with Steve in 3rd for a great 2 3 for TS.

RACE TWO - Stimorol Challenge

Had a slow start with a wall tap that took me down to 8th. After the first few laps managed to crawl up to 2nd passing grndl, minim, swat and a few others. The entire race stayed like this, trying to catch steve but keep ahead of swat. Quite an uneventful race with mostly 100% turbo's but luckily no major mistakes and managed a 1 2 for TS with Swat a good 3-4 secs behind

Good races guys, happy with two 2nds for my first two official GP races. Unlucky to Beechy for getting a runtime error and not knowing the password Crying or Very sad

pre race
well internet has been causing issues all week, wasnt sure if ill be able to connect
but i almost forgot the new midweek fixture, got in with 10 mins to spare

Race 1
i jus didnt get the feeling or any rythym, finished mid table, which i was expecting due to alot of the fast guys playing again.

race 2
i just plodded around, couldnt get the 200% boost often, plodded 11th for most, 2 errors towards end brought mccoy, rustray, midden - ahaead of me to give a close final 2 laps.

at one cp i remember seeing mccoy rustray and mid ahead of me all within the same "second", come the end we were seperated by approx 2 seconds Very Happy

im expecting "connection pending obviously" to have close battles again with rustray and sir spanky.

Race 1:
started well and untill lap 3 on the drop down part where i laned on the side and flipped. reset and was in 21, just got my head down and - the few hits i drove a clean race and was planning on taking reh for 7th but i went smack into a wall on last lap and rolled home in 8th. greats swat for the win and gg all.

Race 2:
knew that i wasnt going to be able to push for places on this one and that was the case. hit few walls early on and was around 15. started pulling places back till i was in 6th and mini pulled off a fast last 10 laps and took me and finished 10secs up on me. finished 7th and with no one around me. greats to steve and everyone for the racing.
