People don't do this to cars...the laws of physics does this to them.
Racing cars costing millions of nuts, promises, or favours, crash every race, and they have infinitely more grip, braking, and cornering than any road car. Not to mention racing cars are driven by experts (and Lewis Hamilton) with skills to handle them.
Having a stupidly deep wallet, and a "supercar" does not mean anything when physics says it's cornering too fast, has run out of grip, or the driver has no idea what they are doing. _________________ http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ http://folding.stanford.edu/

but equally, if you wait until there is no risk then the opportunity is missed.
Gording is (as usual) correct though. These vehicles attain high speeds, accumulating buckets of kinetic energy, much faster than drivers of average ability realise. When momentum exceeds grip they quickly proceed (as Murray Walker is fond of saying) straight to the scene of the accident. _________________
