Didn't Nations have Starforce? The TMN Forums used to be full of it, with the Admins fighting a losing battle defending it. Yet I had no personal contact with anyone who had directly been spiked by it, so ignored it and it ignored me. Never did see a hack in Nations, either.

Nations and TMU uses starforce `lite` which only uses an online key verification (like punkbuster). the full on starforce not only effected pirate games, it (in some cases) effected full pc, causing `blue screen of death` or scrambling other programs to the point they wouldn`t even boot, once you had it on your system, removal was a nightmare, (i had to reinstall XP twice because of it) until a program/technique was developed to remove it and was released by the authors of the DRM because of wide spread complaint, wiki has most of the details here, it tells of levels of protection and games it is installed on.
