i have never had a late start or an invalid time on any server, ever.

not sure why that is.

i am running a fairly quick pc on vista ultimate and i didnt change any settings except open a port on my router for trackmania.

is the port why i never have loading issues?

I guess it's more your RAM, your processor and maybe your internet connection. Smile

I'm hoping to set the controller up to manually progress the servers progress. This will allow me to give a longer loading time to the tracks and should solve the problem of late starting..... not just yet though Sad

ok, changed the ports today back to the defaults. This will speed up some peoples connections as the ISP traffic shaping rules for the default ports seem more lenient...... let me know.

Yup.
King and Odioot are both members of MADNESS gaming, who own several servers including a tech, fullspeed and a laps server. The owner is jackster who I'm good friends with, been on vent with him and the madness lot quite a few times...although I don't think he realises that he has 'stolen' the MAD servername..

Where's the biggest pic of the Mad Laps Mad Scientist I can get my hands on? I reckon ten or so bright green ML Stadium cars'd be just as imposing as a load of daft vehicles.
