I don`t know if it`s just in my imagination, but I`ve noticed that the tmnf crashes for me, seem to be cache related..Everytime it`s crashed I`ve just cleaned the tmnf cache and it works fine again..so yesterday I sometimes closed the game on purpose just to clean the cache and then logged on again and I could play all evening without crashes
I started thinking in that direction when I noticed that it only crashed when a new track was loading.
But like I said could be my imagination and just pure luck that it`s worked everytime |

Try increasing the size of the cache as a test... It may be crashing because its overloading the memory. Although, in nations, it just deleted the oldest files, then downloaded the new ones, so unless they have screwed up the code from nations, it shouldnt be the problem.
To change the cache size, open the Launcher - Configure - Advanced - Peer to peer tab - Cache size. |

Yeah, I did and thanks Steve. I`m also going to turn of custom skins for now.
I thought it was like just nations, that it deletes the oldest files..But on this it seems like the amount of cache I`ve chosen, is the amount I have and crashes if it tries to put some more files in |

What size is your cache set to?
I havent changed mine, and its 600Mb, so i guess thats the default. May put it up a bit if your having cache related problems. |

My cache is set to the maximum ( 4095 I think) and I crash all over the place. tried setting it to the lowest, Same thing. I guess I just have to give up on it untill they fix the problem. _________________ Out of gas and 4 flat tires, Ain't this day starting off good!?! |

I was probably wrong in my assumption that it was cache related as half the day yesterday and so far today it has crashed every time I try to play |

ok, just some update on my problems. I cleaned and defragged the registry yesterday to see if the problems would go away and for now it seems to have worked, as I could play yesterday without tmnf crashing on me thanks everyone for trying to help out. |

Hey guys, been doing a little less of TM lately and so haven't bothered yet to download Forever. Anyway, when I do try to download (with a downloadmanager) I often get files of a few kb's. Anyway, anyone perhaps able to give me a working url? (I can't download it 'through my browser' so to speak cause both Firefox and IE crash when I try). |

WARNING!
Never complain about TMF when you're in-game, or it will give you a nice run-time error and kick you in the nuts _________________
