Madlaps GP Season 9

It looks like that time of year is nearly upon us again. So i reckon the signups/ trackbuiling/ thinktank should start now and then start the season in the middle of september. I`m happy to help admin it again and as per, i`ll make a couple of tracks to upset everyone .

So, what do u guys think, are we ready again for the best racing season on trackmania?

I'm out due to impending fatherhood but I'm happy to make skins for any new teams and anyone who I've done one for in previous seasons I already have one for you if needed.

I was just thinking of building some to be prepared, i was thinking more start of october then this would get the cold months, 8 weeks would take you to the end of november, pending any cock ups, and you would still have a couple of weeks in december to play with if anything was to happen.
Then possibly do what mad said and have a quick turn around in january or february, but use some of the older tracks, not putting so much pressure on track builders.
Then gives us a chance to run one in about april, with some new ones.

Can people not assigned to a team still race if they are there, like Bentley, or do you have to sign up to race?

I would like to do some of the GP's, but I don't know if I can commit to a team for 8 weeks... although Penske from Season 1 does sound good.

They did do a mad laps legends last season steve, people could race but never scored any points, so probably still a option, although they was legends, who are you again

The thread is less than a day old and already I'm being ridiculed, maybe even by my own team... It's good to be back.

Also, are the GP's a straight race round a track like season 1 - 3, or some complicated loop thing that I never fully understood?
