I don't have a real preference about it, but if it can help Ste-Unit to participate to the challenges, i've nothing against the mid-week. |

I'd prefer midweek since two local pubs have gone out of business during the last season I got the blame for their takings dropping.
I'd still do Saturdays but would prefer earlier than 8pm if possible. _________________

Midweek is better for me as the other half is out more often during the week so it'll cause less problems for me _________________ Mostly to be found in Forza Horizon 4 now.

Any day except Saturday and I can almost guarentee I'd make every race. So midweek sounds excellent. |

original:I have to say mid-week I'd wouldn't really be able to race any other time
revised: since Pat is so annoying I guess I will find a way to race whenever I there is a gp. _________________ Someday I shall rule the world!!!

Aaron, there is a major flaw in your plan. Once school starts you won't be able to race mid-week. Unless the start time is much later then now, the race will be over before you get home. A little thing called 6 hours time difference. |

the voting is 2:1 for midweek, but this can't be decided on a simple majority. The choice of which midweek night would now have to be decided. The outcome of that deliberation might leave Saturday still the best compromise. Since it has worked so well for us in three seasons past, the 'steady as she goes' option must be worth something.
Since you started this Steve, I would like you to continue to refine this process. _________________

It's true the aint broke don't fix it thing may apply but at the same time there are a few of us who find it difficult to have every saturday evening at 8pm free. So a compromise might be that the GP's are half saturdays and half wednesdays (for example) or still have the GP on Saturday but slightly earlier like 7pm so those of us who do have social lives can still hit the pubs by half 8. _________________

Well... I guess it depends on whether the Tuesday Night thing is going to start again. If it is, it eliminates monday, and wednesday; as the 'organised' ( ) events will be over in 2 days, then there's nothing in the rest of the week. Friday is also out as more people will be out than on saturday. So that just leaves thursday as the only mid week day left.
Or, if the Tuesday Night thing isnt starting again, then it could any day in the week except friday. In which case, i think another voting thread would be the best way of deciding which day. |

have both mid week and weekend
same tracks
if someone races twice/completes a track twice, take there best time or worst(so if they happen to not DNF - they dont get the "2nd opertunity as such"
an then put the times in order for point allocation
evryones happy apart from mid/mad as theres more blasted operational work - especially at end of races _________________

But then it just becomes a simple time attack challenge... and nothing to do with racing. |

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays are fine. I'd only miss one Wednesday race each month anyway so that'd be alright for me too. Tuesday is the big problem though, if you and a friend who might drive for your team miss two races each month you're a bit knackered in the championship.
Upshot: Thursday suit everyone? No idea what time, but perhaps we could have the official championship decided on Thursdays and have a more relaxed driver's series on Saturdays, open to everyone. _________________
