|
i would like to use a car, that i found here: http://www.trackmania-carpark.com/car.php?id=735 in tmn.
I gave that zip in
\GameData\Skins\Vehicles\StadiumCar and
\GameData\Vehicles\StadiumCar
i can see the car at that bottom line of cars at profile, but when i choose it there is an error. I guess bcos it is tmu and not tmn car. is there any easy way, that i can get that car working?
and is there a site for tmn cars? |

There's no real way of doing that Context. a lot of TMU models though are available in TMN form at trackmania.southmoon.net (seems to be out of action as I post this though); I'm pretty sure that one's on there. _________________

yeah, i want this car, but i cant afford it right now
but i did make something, hopefully to help me get it
www.dream-s2k.com (check it )
and if nothing else, click on google ads at the bottom, that makes a few cents and a 0.00003% closer to the car |

y'know, that isn't going to work
however... if you don't mind setting your sights to suit your pocket, the Joy of Honda Ownership (mechanical excellence, reliability, durable finish, ease of control, performance) can be yours MUCH CHEAPER with a used VFR750 or similar, and it'lll cream an S2000 _________________

well, i got the car in game and i can see it, but no one else cant.
I didn't bought the game, only play tmn, which is free. Is there a way i can make others see my car?
I heard from one guy that it is not possible, bcos i didnt bought the game, and from another that i have to open some ports on router. So, what is true? |

Before ANY custom skins or avatars show up you have to authenticate your account. The code you need to authenticate is supplied with a bought version of the game (TMU, TMS or TMO). Authenticating your account allows others to see your car, and avatar.
I bought TMU solely for this reason, I played it for a couple of days after buying it but havn't played it for weeks due to TMN being so addictive. It still took me a long time to get my skins to show, as I was having a few problems.
So yeh, buy the game if you want people to see skins etc |

No you won't. Forever will be a free online patch forTMN/TMU many months before a TMUF will be on the store shelves.
Remember Forever is supposedly only to bring the older game code up to more modern standards....like TMU. As TMU is at bargain bin prices now, and Forever will be a free patch, waiting for TMUF to appear in shops might possibly mean it'll also have a `new release`, price point.
Oh and you need both an authenticated TMN account and your router ports configured. It's not one or the other, it's BOTH. |

you don't need router ports's configured to allow people to see your skin.... It's an urban myth I've posted everywhere about it, it's complete tripe..... I have posted so much about it in fact and in the chat that the next person to say it gets banned forever I hope I made myself clear. |
