.wav query

where do you drop a .wav file to act as your vehicle Horn?
I put it in TMN>GameData>Vehicles>Media>Audio>Sound>WAVData and it works, but everyone's horn is the same as mine Crying or Very sad

If you want it as your horn, put it in the same zip folder as the skin, and call it horn, i think.

When i tried to change something this afternoon in the zip folder, it said Access Denied, but i think thats just Vista being grumpy.

yep.

find your skin zip file and put in horn.wav
some work..... and some don't.

I nicked my horn.wav from another car.......
- open all the zip in your cache and play the wav files unitl you like one.

Vista is blocking me from changing files i the .zip folder of the skin Crying or Very sad

In my cache i've found a elephants horn, and a complete random laughing for about 30 seconds, and the noise that pacman makes when its counting in. Lucky i play with the sound off Cool

If i send the files to you dmm, can you put them in a folder please.

can you extract the zip.... and the recreate it? not played much with vista.

email me the files if that doesnt work.

I was copying some files onto a new vista laptop yesterday......

Select the file
Hit copy
WARNING - The file may be harmful hit ok
Find the destination
Hit Paste
Are you sure you want to paste? Hit Yes
WARNING - The file maybe harmful.........

The amount of warnings I got in that half hour was totally outrageous.
and then when the software doesn't work.......... yep It sucks big style.

Anyway i was going to say how annoying Vista is, but i cant be bothered to type it again.

And i cant change it, even extract it, add files and compress it. So im sending files ----->>

With great difficulty:-

1. Stick Vista up someones a$$

2. Download the patch for Starforce

3. Click allow to the 20 warnings that will come up

4. Install patch for starforce

5. Click allow to the 15 warnings that will come up

6. Join a religion and start praying
