I think Mad put them there.
To be honest, they are fine by me as they don't interupt on me reading the forums. If this helps mad maintain the servers a little they are well worth it in my opinion . |

ok new trial
If I can paste google ads onto the forums without causing too much grief they will help pay to host this and pay for the vent server.
Any extra cash will be plowed back into the community. I'll have to see how much income it generates before I can decide what we might do with it. I will keep you updated when it settles down.
Unfortunately the ads seem to be a alot of surf wear at the moment due to the name SHORE FORUMS :O |

Perhaps change the title of the forums (I take it you can do it site-wide) to something like:
Mad Online Game community :: [topic title]
Seeing as google ads are relevant to the content changing the title may already be enough to get the ads to show a bit more game-content. |

Nice suggestion medi, I've changed it as suggested. It seems a little better. Not sure why the dubai holiday adverts keep showing either but hey.
Some adverts can bring in a dollar a click...... others very little. As hosting this site is relatively cheap, the costs may be covered. There are different gaming links on the home page, and a firefox button. These are all more targeted adverts whereas the banner up the top is erm quite random. I would prefer adverts down the side, but they are giving me grief at the moment. Also more colourful and gaming ads would be nice.
I am on absolute instructions that I cannot click on the adverts myself and that I musn't encourage everyone to click on the adverts either. This would be breaking my contract. I am also not allowed to put big pointy arrows saying click here all over the site. So of course I'm not going to do any of that in any way what so ever.
I have noticed I get the same ad everytime I post but it disappears real quick... It's for some really nice looking dessert..
Thankyou for your interest.

Haha, just got a Car insurance for Women advert.
Got some ads for log cabins now....relevant suff
I dont mind it. It not annoying, and if it helps hosting the servers, fine by me. |

I love the way Google works out which ads to place. It does it in gmail too. I sent a client a bullet list and the ads were for bulletproof doors.
In fact, I's ure that if I put the words cheap candlesticks get your candlesticks and wax candles form our online store and light up your christmas, there will be some reference to candles in the ads for certain night light lovers. |

Lmao, I think it's just completely random, with some exceptions like "New Sealand GP" ( ) and "North Shore Resorts" |
