|

You've seen TMN community projects before. You've seen MadLaps community projects before. But you haven't seen the Madlaps 1K project before have you. Well I'm sorry to say that no one can see it...that is, not until we make it.
To start out I'm going to introduce to all you newbies what a 1K project is with this educational & informative video. If your not a newbie, then watch it anyways.
http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/12321.html?id=12321
So now that you've watched it, you can help make it.
Here's what we need:
A 1 lap track - preferably wide, jumpy, short-ish, and not too hard.
1000 replays - tutorial can be found at bottom of post
The car - preferably something a little more Sunrise-ish than Nations-ish
or in otherwords - a bit more car.
And of course after everything above is completed - we need to make the video.
All tracks, replays, cars, or anything you think can help should be sent to:

Jumping GP 8? Seems to fit the criteria.

I don't know, what's wrong with the Stadium car? Hardly any of these projects use it. _________________

I like the idea ViRuS
I also think we should build a track specifically for it rather than one we already have, everyone makes one and we have a vote for the choice |

I agree with the Mad Laps GP Car and a new track too, which of course has to be a multilap |

I what lavelle means by 'wide' is a very wide surface of track/platform so that 1000 cars arent all squished onto one piece of track.
Good idea, i suppose you know a fair bit about video editing. |

ok i tried to create a track that might do it justice.........
I'll email it to you and if you like it I can run the challenge server with it for a week or so for people to race and collect replays...
I had a quick bash at a replay for effect and i think it works....
I also think the GP skins are a great idea... |

This is by far the most responses I've ever gotten lol. I'm going to send Mad some cars that I've made. It seems that everyone wants to use the Mad GP car, but I wouldn't hurt to have a look right? |

Ok, so, LaValle.. your track.. yea.. what can I say
I'd vote for Mad's track so far. I think your track is too much of a maze, it gotta have some sort of route... I hope to see more suggestions ^^ |

Yea Insane, I had that too..
Find the checkpoint somehow, somewhere on the complete other side of the track.
Then get back to the 'half-loop' all the way back. Get some speed and jump up in the middle, and tadaa, you're back at the start / finish. |
