Hi all, im a newbie in the forums but in-game im SFFNxMakikou.
As i've been playing on Mad Laps, i've started loving the Sector Records (yes, especially that!) and im hosting my own Laps server.
So, i was thinking that maybe it would be possible to get Shore Controller from you guys?
I've been playing around with FAST, its great but theres no plugin for Sector Records so..

Well, i'm not sure it is up to date, but as far as i know it looks free to download from this webpage on the Shore-systems website : Just here thanks to DaMadMan.
But keep in mind that this page was created at the period of the old nations game (if i'm not wrong) so i really don't know if it has been updated yet. |

the original download was never updated pep but nice spot.
The latest is not really suitable for distribution...I believe that some other controllers do do sectors records.
Our current controller runs is written in Java so requires the Java runtime, a MySql database, Apache server with PHP. The interface is via the website and ingame.
You didn't say what your servers called..... |

My server's called Reverse Gear Racing Laps, doesnt run yet because im still gatherin some trax
atm im using FAST + GPP 1.6v + Local Recs by MCM but got no sector recs 
I do have MySQL database access and Apache server with PHP. |

Well, then it won`t be my track, As you`ll have to validate it again, Thus taking My track and making it yours, which i won`t be so happy about. So, not really.

How about if he puts a title on loading of "Original track by DTM" much like we do with Shockii's stuff when Pep modded it. Then he gets to use the track and publicise his server and a wider audience sees your tracks.
Everybodys happy then (possibly not Dan)

nope
tracks should be as the author left them no arguments.
modding a track in any way should be done by the author and no exceptions
we've had plenty of tracks stolen before by folk who want to start a server and want the credit and it's too close a call to start messing. we only did the shocki one as an experiment and to match our new united look.... thing is the old one was better |

True enough Mad there was that Monaco one that was very similar to the shockii one and he didn't get the credit for it.

That's why, i like to create my own tracks unless i got permission from our team member
