Hey Guys!
I don't really know where to put this post but I guess that this section kind of fits....
This is about a school project i'm doing with a few mates in my english-class. We have to create a company profile of Starbucks!
I'd be pleased if you could tell me your gender and age and what you think of Starbucks.
What are your first associations when you hear the word Starbucks?
Do you know any popular commercials of Starbucks and how do you like them?
Would be pretty neat if a lot of you guys could answer these questions! If you want to know the results of the poll, I'll post them when my friends and me are done.
Thank you very much!

Male, 20, Would only go there if I was in female company and she was REALLY worth taking there. And I don't like coffee so would be a hot chocolate (which are overpriced for a bit of heated up cocoa bean!)
Gd luck with the project |

32 male
associations Britney Spears (customer), Borders shops, Coffee, Overpricing
starbucks were in the paper recently for wasting water by having a tap running constantly in every outlet worldwide wasting 23 million litres of water a day, staff are banned from turning the taps off apparently
i'm not a massive fan of Starbucks and think the coffee tastes horrible but i know it is popular (and expensive) and i've not seen any ads i can remember _________________

Male, 40, Hate coffee period. I have set foot in a starbucks
once and about had a heart attack over their pricing.
I find their commercials annoying at best.

My town's so hick we don't have a Starbuck to rub together, but it still has a cultural footprint with a couple of wannabees setting up.. _________________

Male 38, have been to SB now and again when I have to ... the coffee isn't really all that good, but they add all manner of flavourings to them to make them palatable. The coffee at Nero is much better, but I prefer independent coffee houses as they actually have to be good to survive. I absolutely adore coffee and drink gallons of it, and I love cafes, probably more than pubs ... SB food isn't too bad but it is expensive. I don't like queuing up either as you usually miss the last table. Table service is unheard of in the chains.
Can't remember. They just started appearing ... everywhere ... a few years back. Dr Evil's henchmen founded Starbucks in Austin Powers to raise money while he was in depp freeze.
I don't believe I've ever seen a TV commercial. They advertise in newspapers and usually big up their environmental and fair trade credentials, then leave taps on all day long. |

Either this or The Simpsons where Bart gets a tattoo at a parlour at a shop that's being turned into a Starbucks in five minutes (like every other shop in the mall, which was mildly entertaining) was the first time I heard of Starbucks. These days, I associate it with an awful smell from a product that Britain seems to run on and horrific prices.
Male, 17. Haven't seen any adverts (phew). _________________

It's the shop I bankrolled to fleece the middle classes of pots of money for what is effectively Nescafe with cream from a can on top.
