I was doing a quiz last year and the husband of one of my colleagues walked out over an argument about who was the first captain of the star ship enterprise. He said before leaving
"I will not stay in the same room as man who is as blindly wrong as you are sir. The answer is Johnathon Archer and frankly only an idiot would get it wrong."
Quiz master "Who all said it was Kirk"
The entire room apart from another couple of disgruntled trekkies put their hands up.
Colleagues husband "Bunch of simpletons" and flounces out the door in a huff.
Quiz time is serious business
