If its custom then its custom, meaning anything altered by a user cannot be seen by other members if not authenticated, even a repaint on a standard Nadeo formula...
I think
Dan I prefer you in the Veyron... |

Forever will be a free online patch (like "Extreme" was for Sunrise). TMU is now in bargain bins, put the two together...and you have TMUF for a bargain bin price!
If you wait for TMUF to hit the shops it'll be a "New release" with a high price tag (like TrackMania Sunrise EXTREME when it finally appeared with it's free online patch built in!). Spell it out :

so, if i understand you right that means - Forever will be a free patch for everyone who has TMU? In that case it would be a good idea to buy TMU now, bcos its cheaper (i know you said that ). If this is true, i will go buy TMU tomorrow. |

Forever isn't a new game, it is (will be) a patch for TMN/TMU. It is an alteration of the 3D code behind the 2 surviving games.
When both games are patched, for the first time TMU and TMN players will have the same game (Nations players will still only have Stadium) code, and might be able to play in the same servers.
Nadeo have said TMN will have it's ladder reset (ho he ha....2 years of point boosting cheats wiped out overnight! ) and the Forever patch will add to the track blocks of United's old TMO environments. However, anyone who's got both games knows that the TMU Stadium, and TMN stadium are very different, and as we'll probably be brought into line with them (blocks for engine killers, dirt sections, dark tracks) things might be very different for us after Forever.
Personally I'd say anyone with a graphics card that is not PC3 might struggle. PC3 graphics have required lighting effects for dark tracks. It's a bit of a problem racing, if you can hardly see the track! _________________ http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ http://folding.stanford.edu/ |

30$ = 20€ = 15 pounds from official website
not that much for such a great game |

Damn I miss MLU occasionally. I still say it could work, but the track selection would need to be incredibly tightly regulated, perhaps just a couple of good tracks per environment. _________________
