Ok serious problem with my game. When I start up my game All I can see is my desktopn for a few minutes. Then, after a few moments, I can hear the menu music, but the game never comes up. Could this have anything to do with placing a quickrtime file in the advertisements ? Please Help. I want to keep my game. |

lol if you put a quicktime file in the advertisements that come up at the start, its probably the wrong file type, so it wont run, preventing the program from running. But you say you can hear the music, so it is running, just not graphically. Can you click on the tmn buttom on the tollbar at the bottom of windows? Or delete the file, restart and try again, or if that doesnt work, see what other peps say. |

Yes I can click the game on the toolbar, but I mean the advertisements like the "Mad T.V." ones. |

In certain circumstances TMN seems quite unstable. When the wrong file type is used (e.g. a united car in nations), you don't get an error message - the game just crashes! Mine does freeze from time to time and I get the Windows serious error message, and Microsoft website tells me I need to update my graphics card or lower the settings. But 99% of the time it's fine. Also, it sometimes takes AGES to load, but that could be down to my PC. I suppose you've tried reinstalling it? |

I thought that reinstalling it would delete the old game. Is that true? And yes pep, I have removed the file. |

If you removed the file, it might work.
And you should uninstall or remove programs before installing them again. Click uninstall or add/remove programs in control panel. |

Can't you install it on another partition, just in case? |

lol nice one. I should try that as the default reply to Help queries: 'have you thrown any money at the problem yet?' _________________
