Almost all the tracks on Mad Laps forever server are jump/stunt/loop tracks. Where have all the good old plain racing tracks that I loved from TMN gone?

I know there on classic but the average player count on there is about 3.

Is there any reason that the old tracks aren't on the Forever server?

The reason I don't visit the Classic server is because its extremely buggy and the tracks are see-through, and also as you said there is never more than 3 or 4 people in there.

I visit the Forever server because thats where the racing is. I guess most people are wanting to drive on new tracks on Forever, rather than the old tracks that you've raced on so many times in Nations. If there were alot of people in the Classic server I would probably go there instead.

But currently I only visit the Forever Madlaps server, and RFR (as racing on a flat F1 track with 24 other players is lots of fun!)

you've answered your own question, Tom. The Classic server is there for the usergroup it attracts. The Forever server will get the most attention and allocation of resources.
As the author of the most excellent 'TT' Nations track, maybe you can help seed the new server with some equally good racetracks Idea

ste-: empty your Cache to solve the glitches

the tracks mods have been removed and this solves the bugs. clearing your cache syncs your copy with the server. The cache is found in c:/documents and settings/allusers/application data/trackmania etc

While I'm not that hot driving on mud, its a fun addition to the racing pallette (is that spelled correctly?).

But having a few more 90%+ tarmac tracks would be nice.

Also some of the current tracks on the server are....not the best, hopefully they will be ousted when the trackmakers get hot and sweaty with the editor
